Oman offers a wealth of adventure opportunities.  Our trekking programmes explore the Hajar Mountains on trails dating back millennia.  Explore the Jebali villages and stunning geological formations unique to Oman.

The following itinerary is based on a 6 night/7 day trekking programme across the Western Hajars.

Price is based on an adult group of 5+ persons at USD$ 1560/- per person.

Day 1: The group will have arrived prior to day 1. Collect group from guest house in Nizwa and start hike in Wadi Muyadin. Overnight wild camp near Hillat as Sharaf. 15km (L/D)
Day 2: Hike through Wadi Bani Habib historical village to and MOD site and hidden cave. Continue to Al Ma’qal and onto al Jarir/Khaf al Hamir, walking through a remote abandoned village and around Wadi Qishu canyon, offering fantastic views across to the interior. Wild camp in the abandoned village close to Al Jarir. 24km (B/L/D)
Day 3: Hike to Aqbat al Biyut, making a short detour to a hidden cliff village, and then up to Al Hilaylat and onto Ar Rus for overnight. 22km (B/L/D)
Day 4: Ar Rus to Sharaf guest house for overnight. The route passes through the infamous Black Top mountain, location of some historical military battles. The hike along the Sharaf ridge offers views to the Batinah Coast and to the interior and Empty Quarter. 17.5km (B/L/D)
Day 5: Sharaf to Misfat Al Abryeen. A wonderful descent to the historical and habitable village of Mifat al Abryeen. The final leg of the hike takes you through some beautiful palm plantations and falaj systems. Wild camp close to Al Hamra town. 23km (B/L/D)
Day 6: Transfer to Wadi Ghul for final hike to Jebel Shams. Once at the top of Jebel Shams continue along the Balcony trail to the abandoned village and final highlight of the day with a clip out of the canyon on the Via Ferrata. Overnight final night in Jebel Shams Resort. (B/L/D)
Day 7: Return to Muscat via Wadi Bani Awf off-road drive, one of Omans most scenic off-road routes. Drop-off at the airport or hotel for your final night. (B/L)
