The island
The Bali most groups never see
Most school trips to Bali stay on the coast road. This one doesn't. From the saddle, the island opens up: the subak irrigation channels that have watered these paddies for a thousand years, the carving and hand-painting workshops in the villages around Ubud, the black volcanic country under Gunung Batur, and the UNESCO-listed terraces at Jatiluwih.
The riding is steady rather than hard — 24 to 30 km a day on quiet lanes and easy off-road tracks, with a mechanic and a support vehicle alongside. Students who have never toured before finish the week having ridden across an island.

Bali Bike Tour
A supported cycling week on Bali's classic routes — Bongkasa, the Ubud art villages, the Kintamani volcano rim and the Jatiluwih rice terraces — rounded out with Tanah Lot at sunset, Ubud culture, and a Nusa Dua and Uluwatu finale.

Bongkasa village & Tanah Lot ~24 km · 2.5 hrs
Ride the Bongkasa rural eco-trail from the great banyan tree, through rice paddies, plantations and off-road tracks, past Balinese houses, temples, a traditional market and the subak irrigation system. In the afternoon, transfer to Tanah Lot for a sunset dinner.

Day3
Ubud art villages ~27 km · 3 hrs
The art-village route from Tampaksiring through Sebatu, the Tegalalang / Ceking rice terraces, Bentuyung and Abangan, with stops at hand-painting and carving workshops, finishing in Ubud. Afternoon at the Monkey Forest and the Ubud Royal Palace.

Day4
Kintamani volcano rim ~30 km
A rural-mountain ride overlooking Gunung Batur volcano and its lake, past temples, Balinese houses and village life, with a lake-view breakfast and lunch in Kintamani. Afternoon transfer to the Jatiluwih area.

Jatiluwih UNESCO rice terraces ~30 km
Cycle through the UNESCO-listed Jatiluwih terraces — Marga and the old villages, temples, a fresh-coconut pit stop and a traditional lunch among the paddies. Afternoon transfer to Kuta.

Nusa Dua, GWK & Uluwatu
Watersports at Tanjung Benoa including a jet-ski session, then the Garuda Wisnu Kencana cultural park and Uluwatu temple with a Kecak dance performance. Dinner at Jimbaran.
